Functional Work Site Evaluations (FWSE)
A Functional Work Site Evaluation (FWSE) is used to identify any functional limitations or restrictions, provide demonstrated work capacity level, and determine if the demonstrated work capacity level is consistent with the occupational demands. This assessment utilizes the specific work station and job duties as the functional tools to establish abilities, deficits, and the need for ergonomic intervention associated with performing job task demands. An FWSE is an objective starting point for Return to Work Programs, enables quicker turn around times for off-work claims, and empowers the individual with provision of body posture recommendations and work practice education.
